Attitude check! Your attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG
difference.

I don’t think anything has ever been written that better describes the importance of attitude than these words from Chuck Swindoll.

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.

It will make or break a company… a church… a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it. -Chuck Swindoll Share on X

We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude… I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

Your attitude determines your altitude.

Are you focused on your circumstances or your attitude towards those circumstances?

Are you choosing to be positive, optimistic, and determined or negative, pessimistic, and ready to give up?

Are you thinking on the things that will help you or hurt you? Are you focusing on things you can control (starting with your thoughts and attitude) or are you focusing on things you have no control over?

Remember the role attitude plays in the cycle of success. Your attitude is comprised of your thoughts and feelings. Everything starts with how you think, which is 100% your choice. Having the right attitude is nothing more than choosing the right mindset.
