One of the great things about life is that regardless of who you are, where you live, what your income is, what your age, or where you’ve come from….you have the ability to choose every day what you will focus on.

You can choose to focus on:
-how you’ve been hurt
-past failures
-what you don’t have
-who you are not
-anything negative that comes to mind

…OR…

You can choose to focus on:
-how you’ve been helped
-past success
-what you do have
-who you are and who you are becoming

It’s all within your ability to choose.  What you focus on increases in your life.   If you want more happiness, more peace, more positivity, then start shifting your focus. Change your thinking and watch how things begin to change!    From the time you were born, till the time you leave this earth there will  always be people that hurt you, situations you’d rather not be in, loved ones who disappoint you, and difficulties well beyond your control.  This is a part of life.

You can’t always choose what happens to you but you can always choose how you respond.

Rise above the negative!

A boat is sunk, not by the water around it but when the water gets inside.  You may be around negativity but you do not have to let it get inside you. Control your mind, your thoughts, your attitude, and choose to focus on the things that will help you rise above.     Your ability to do this determines the quality of your life.  Tony Robbins says, “The quality of your life is the quality of your thoughts.”

Victor Frankl, who survived the Nazi Concentration Camps and wrote the book, Man’s Search for Meaning said,

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing;  the last of the human freedoms–to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances.”   Win the inner battle in your own mind every day, regardless of what’s going on on the outside.

An eagle senses when a storm is coming, and uses it’s winds to rise above the storm.

This is you.  You’re an eagle.  You were born to rise above and soar!

You’ve got what it takes!
